^{Karkat opened the door to his dark, cluttered room. The lights were off the way he like and his computer had that annoying beep beep beep that annoyed him untill he checked PesterChum.
So, he plopped down onto his computer chair with a grunt. He clicked open the tab and the beeping shut up when he began to read.
It seemed Egbert had been leaving him messages the whole time Karkat was out getting something to eat with Sollux, because it was the gemini's turn to pay.
The messages all read something stupid:
EB: Hey Karkat. I haven't talked to you on here in a long time i was wondering what happened to you?
Eb: oh your not online. that's cool. i can talk to dave for a bit and wait for you
Eb: I miss talking to you, like I said. sorry if I
m annoying I just really miss you, bro.
Why did Egbert miss him, that stupid human deserved missing Karkat as much as he did. He let out a deep sigh and began to type back
CG: SORRY ABOUT THAT EGBERT SOLLUX TOOK ME TO GO GET SOMETHING TO EAT IN PAYBACK FOR PAYING FOR HIS LUNCH THE OTHER DAY

EB: Oh, that's fine I guess. I mean I don't mind like I said before.

CG: WELL, YOU'RE ACTING REALLY SILLY WHY DO YOU MISS ME SO MUCH

Karkat grunted a bit, john wasn't replying. why did that IDIOT not reply to him as fast as he used to. it's not right. why would john do such a thing?

EB: Well. I mean, your my friend. I'm supposed to miss you.
Eb: but I guess it's a little different.
Karkat got wide eyes, what did John mean by that?
CG: WHAT ARE YOU SAYING EGBERT
EB: I'm saying that I was going to tell you if I saw you in person sooner, but I can't because of piling homework and helping Dave with his. (: but, I can tell you on here.
EB: I love you, Karkat.

Karkat didn't know what to type, his fingers wouldn't move and he just. sat there for a moment.
Human love? Trolls can't feel love.
Well, that's what Karkat had been taught. But seeing what John had said had made his heart race fast.

He just logged off of the sit, he'd talk to john about it later. he then got up, plopped onto his bed and shoved hi face into his pillow.
Oh gog, what does he say to John? does he just say "yeah john, you love me ad I flush for you how about we fill buckets?" he can't say that. that would be idiotic.
